Leeds United secured an emphatic 5-0 victory away to West Brom on Tuesday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were blown away by the performance of their star Raphinha.
After beating Burnley at the weekend, Marcelo Bielsa’s side followed it up with another three points in the Premier League by dismantling West Brom at the Hawthorns.
The Yorkshire giants were gifted an opener when Romaine Sawyers passed the ball into his own net inside the opening 10 minutes and the visitors stepped up the heat from that moment on.
Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison both scored eye-catching goals to extend the lead, while Rodrigo Moreno added a fourth before half-time with his deflected effort.
Raphinha netted a 72nd minute stunner to finish the scoring, as he cut inside on to his favoured left foot and unleashed a rocket into the top corner.
The 24-year-old netted his second goal for the club following his summer move from Rennes and he’s quickly made himself a real favourite at Elland Road with his attacking flair.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media felt Raphinha was a real standout in an extremely impressive display from their side, with one giving credit to the club’s transfer chief Victor Orta for securing his signature.
