Leeds defender Pontus Jansson is surely Premier Leauge quality
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson was once again brilliant in the dramatic Boxing Day victory over Blackburn Rovers, as his team stretched their league run to seven consecutive wins.
The Whites sensationally scored twice in stoppage time through centre-forward Kemar Roofe to earn three more Championship points.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship for now and continue to show a never-say-die attitude.
Jansson returned to the Leeds side after missing victories over Bristol City and Reading through injury, to help win the next five games in succession.
The centre-back is a colossal presence in the backline with his leadership and is a major Elland Road favourite, but there is no denying his quality on the ball has improved too.

The Sweden international looks good enough to be a regular in the Premier League already and is a real force at Championship level.
He was a towering defence against Blackburn that was a beast in the air and his display was highlighted by a cheeky roulette turn to escape from two attackers.
Jansson is growing in confidence every week with his distribution from the back improving massively under Bielsa and there are no obvious weaknesses to his game.
Leeds will be gunning for an eighth win at home to Hull City on Saturday and no doubt Jansson will leave his all on the pitch again for the Yorkshire giants.
