Leeds defender Laurens de Bock has been spotted in Thessaloniki airport as he moves closer to leaving Elland Road to join Aris.
Greek outlet SDNA reported yesterday that the 26-year-old was set for a medical today with the left back set to end his nightmare spell at the club.
And the defender has now been spotted at the airport ahead of that switch, with de Bock now a long way away from Marcelo Bielsa’s first team plans.
The news won’t be too much cause for concern for Leeds fans, although it does continue a summer where they have moved a lot of players on – possibly to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

De Bock joined Leeds in January 2018, when the club was scratching around for a left back and reached for a player of a decent age with Europa League experience.
He came in at a time where the club’s form tailed off badly and never recovered; once Paul Heckingbottom was replaced by Bielsa and he brought in Barry Douglas early on in his reign.
It’s best for all parties that de Bock moves on – it gets his wages off the bill, allows the defender to get his career back on track and Leeds can move on from a botched piece of recent transfer business.
