Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has got involved in the surprise love-in between Jon Bon Jovi and Patrick Bamford after taking to Twitter to invite the rock star to Elland Road in the future.

In a turn of events that no Leeds fan would have seen coming on Wednesday, the Bon Jovi frontman sent a message of encouragement to the striker during an interview on talkSPORT.

Unsurprisingly, plenty of supporters were stunned by what they were hearing. And Bamford would soon take to social media to issue his own response.

And it appears that the American has been handed the freedom of Elland Road after Radrizzani took to Twitter to send a message to the 57-year-old.

The Italian suggested that he hopes to see Bon Jovi at the stadium in the future…

Leeds supporters will be hoping that the bizarre events help Bamford rediscover his scoring touch in the very near future.

The Englishman has not found the back of the net in any of his last five appearances. Of course, Bamford brings a lot to the table even when he is not able to get onto the scoresheet.

But with Marcelo Bielsa’s side in a fantastic position once again this term, the fans will be desperate to see Bamford add to his tally of 12 goals during the remaining months of the season.
