Leeds United signed Tyler Roberts for £2.5million (Yorkshire Evening Post) back in January 2018 and he’s now showing enough to suggest he’s serious value for money.
After a slow start at Elland Road due to injury problems, the attacker has now become an important player for the Whites.
The Wales international has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Yorkshire giants this season, scoring three goals and supplying five assists in return.
Roberts is currently enjoying his best run in Marcelo Bielsa’s side and playing a key role in the push for automatic promotion.
The 20-year-old is finding great success in the attacking midfield role and his immense work-rate is shining through.

Roberts is battling with Leeds to secure automatic promotion, with the club just outside the top two of the Championship behind Sheffield United on goal difference.
The versatile attacker looks very settled right now in a playmaker role and is in theory keeping Kemar Roofe out of the side right now, which is credit to his performances.
His £2.5million cost looks a real steal considering he’s still very young and there is so much potential for him to improve under Bielsa’s tutelage.
He just needs to become more clinical in the final third, but Leeds potentially have a long-term solution in their team and he fits the style well.
