Cardiff City have disclosed their list of released players following their relegation from the Premier League, according to the BBC.
Unsurprisingly, there will be some changes on the playing staff as the Bluebirds gear up for their return to the second tier – although Neil Warnock’s careful management of the club should ensure there’s no need for a huge churn.
One player who will apparently be playing his football elsewhere is 26-year-old Englishman Kadeem Harris, whose contract at the Cardiff City Stadium.
And that could get Leeds United and Aston Villa excited, because the Sun reported back in November that both clubs were interested in a swoop for the rapid winger.

Despite Cardiff’s relegation, Harris was actually reasonably impressive in the top flight – battling hard to win a spot in Warnock’s side and showcasing his speed and directness at the highest level.
For a player of his age and profile, a free transfer swoop would represent decent value for both Leeds and Villa as they look to ready their squads for next season.
Villa might be flush with cash after getting promoted to the Premier League but replacing departing loanees and ageing players leaving on a free can be costly – and a free arrival like Harris would be a welcome cheaper option.
For Leeds, they are looking to give Marcelo Bielsa what he needs to go one step further in 2019/20 but the club doesn’t exactly look set for a lavish summer of spending – and Harris knows what it takes to get promotion.
