Leeds United travel to Stoke City on Saturday in the Championship and manager Marcelo Bielsa has already confirmed in his pre-match press conference that he will name the same starting XI that beat Derby County.
The Whites cruised to a 2-0 victory over Derby at Elland Road in their last league game, which leaves them four points clear at the top of the Championship.
It was a memorable game for Ezgjan Alioski, as he dropped back into a left-back role with great success.
The 26-year-old is a winger by trade and struggled for large spells for creativity in the final third this season, but he looked more at home at full-back and made some great overlapping runs.
He has played the position on the international stage before with Macedonia and many feel it could become his new preferred position at club level too.
But Leeds were completely dominant against Derby and Aloiski could be in for a tougher defensive examination away to Stoke.
Alioski could do with proving he’s no flash in the pan at left-back by repeating a similar quality display on the road.
His main problem during his time in Yorkshire is his inconsistency and that is something needs to try stamp out of his game.
With first-choice Barry Douglas nearing a return from injury, it’s a huge opportunity for Alioski to show why he belongs in the XI.
