Leeds United right-back Stuart Dallas was in international action for Northern Ireland last night.
The Whites ace was named in Ian Baraclough’s starting XI for their World Cup qualifier against Italy at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.
It wasn’t the greatest night for Dallas or for Northern Ireland, who were beaten 2-0 by the four-time world champions.

Errors at the back proved the visitors’ downfall in the first half as Domenico Berardi and Ciro Immobile netted for Italy.
And while Dallas was caught out for the opener, the Northern Irish media felt he did a good job overall.
The Belfast Telegraph gave him 7 out of 10 and wrote: “Tracked back well but was caught out for Berardi goal. Showed fight in the second half in much better display.”
Meanwhile, Belfast Live gave him 6 out of 10 and wrote: “Lost dangerman Berardi for Italy’s opening goal, but regrouped to put in an energetic display.”
Northern Ireland face the United States on Sunday before taking on Bulgaria on Wednesday.
Leeds then return to action with a Premier League game against Sheffield United at Elland Road on Saturday 3 April.
