Arsenal icon Lee Dixon believes Gunners ace Bukayo Saka will become “an absolute superstar”.

Dixon was speaking after Saka shone for England in their 4-0 win over Andorra in World Cup qualifying.

The Arsenal prodigy helped his nation open the scoring in the 18th minute, crossing for Jesse Lingard to rifle home.

Gareth Southgate’s charges had to bide their time for a second, but when it came, the floodgates opened.

England brought on Harry Kane, Mason Mount and Jack Grealish on the hour mark.

And on 72 minutes, Kane slotted home a penalty that Mason won after being put through by Grealish.

Six minutes later, Saka once again provided the ball from which Lingard would score, making it 3-0 on the night.

Lingard would then provide the delivery from which the Arsenal ace would get on the scoresheet himself, crossing for a header.

Speaking after the game, Dixon said on ITV (5/9/21, 22:52): “You forget what an age (Saka is playing like).

“He was basically one of the two who carried the Arsenal team last season.

“For such a young player, everybody was looking at him to change a game, to win a game.

“And he’s come into the England side – certainly in the Euros – he was the one that got the ball.

“And today, we saw he’s got a pass, he’s got a cross, he’s got the ability to take players on and commit players.

“He’s going to be an absolute superstar, I’m pretty sure of that.”
