As the summer goes on, Leandro Trossard’s Arsenal future could certainly be one to keep an eye on.
Surprisingly, with 56 appearances, Leandro Trossard actually played more games for Arsenal than any other player last season.
Trossard didn’t play as many minutes as David Raya or William Saliba, but he was on the pitch more often than Mikel Arteta’s go-to pair.
However, TBR Football recently revealed that Trossard is ready to leave Arsenal this summer, who have already signed Noni Madueke to boost their options out wide.
And if Arsenal do make Trossard available then the winger will not be short of options — a 30-year-old who is still at the peak of his game.
Leandro Trossard has already played with new Arsenal signing Viktor Gyokeres
That being said, if Trossard does stay at Arsenal then he might be very excited to see Viktor Gyokeres arrive at the club in the coming days.
Arsenal have agreed to sign Gyokeres from Sporting CP after a long transfer saga, and the Swedish striker should soon be pictured in red.
Of course, Gyokeres previously played for Brighton & Hove Albion in England, where he was teammates with Ben White.
White once assisted Gyokeres in an U21 game for Brighton, but he wasn’t the only current Arsenal player alongside the Swede down on the south coast.
Whilst he was much more senior than Gyokeres at Brighton at the time, Trossard was also playing for Graham Potter’s side.

And during an EFL Cup match against Manchester United in September 2020, Trossard was actually subbed on for Gyokeres.
Gyokeres started up top and White was at the back in a game Brighton lost 3-0.
And after 63 minutes on the pitch, the Swede was replaced by Trossard, who joined the likes of Alexis Mac Allister for the second half.
Viktor Gyokeres also played against Everton at Goodison Park
In terms of Gyokeres’ history in England, the striker also played against Everton in a pre-season friendly at Goodison Park in 2023.
And whilst Sporting lost 1-0 to Sean Dyche’s side, Gyokeres was in excellent form for the Portuguese outfit.
Gyokeres didn’t score but he proved his creative credentials on English soil — he should have definitely had at least one assist to his name.
By this point a lot of Arsenal fans will have watched a mountain of Gyokeres clips and goals.
And whichever way you analyse the deal, Arsenal are buying a striker who is an excellent finisher, and one who clearly has a strong determination to succeed.
To that end, Jose Mourinho has shared his thoughts on Gyokeres ahead of his move to Arsenal.
And once the new season arrives, fans in north London will be ready and waiting to follow Gabriel Magalhaes in copying Gyokeres’ famous celebration.
