Tottenham Hotspur’s defensive struggles under Jose Mourinho are showing no signs of letting up.
The club conceded two more goals against Southampton in their FA Cup fourth round replay on Wednesday evening, meaning Spurs have now shipped 23 in all competitions since the Portuguese took over in November.
Mourinho has seen his side keep just three clean sheets since his arrival, which is a major concern.

The form of Toby Alderweireld has been alarming for most of the season, and Jan Vertonghen is undoubtedly a shadow of his former self.
The Belgian duo were once a frightening pairing, but it is now rare they feature together as that imposing force and gone seem to be the days where they dominated strikers together.
Spurs are fragile and leaky at the minute, and that is something that needs addressing in the summer – and there’s one player that could help Mourinho fix that.
TBR’s view – Spurs must target Koulibaly
The Daily star cited a report from Corriere del Mezzogiorno in December that claimed Spurs were keen on the Senegal international, and that was following by links courtesy of El Desmarque in January.
The Napoli star is one of the best defenders in Serie A, and could be a means of addressing the clean sheet issue for Mourinho.

Napoli are languishing in 10th place in the Italian top-flight at the moment and there’s a danger for them that they’ll miss out on Champions League football next term.
Should that be the case, then there could be a chance Koulibaly will seek an exit from the club.
The £70 million-rated colossus (Express) is aerially prolific, winning an average of 2.3 duels per 90 according to WhoScored, and he is an excellent ball-player with 89% accuracy so far.
Impressively, he’s also averaged 5.2 clearances per 90, suggesting him as the solid backs-to-the-wall defender Spurs really need.
