Tottenham have been handed a potential boost in their pursuit of Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with the Rome club apparently willing to let him go this summer.
Calciomercato have claimed today that Lazio have accepted that Milinkovic-Savic is on his way out of the club this summer, amid named interest from Manchester United and PSG. However, while United and the Paris club are keen, Tottenham have also made their interest known.
Just two weeks ago, it was claimed that Fabio Paratici was desperate to bring the Serbian star to north London. He’s said to be ‘crazy’ about signing him, and the £62m asking price hasn’t put the Spurs chief off.

Milinkovic-Savic has been a standout performer for Lazio for a number of seasons now. Remarkably, Fulham are also said to fancy their chances of landing him due to his relationship with Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The report from Italy claims that Lazio have come to the realisation that their star man will go. It’s claimed that Juventus are also in the picture, which could post further problems for Tottenham’s hopes.
TBR’s View: Milinkovic-Savic Upgrades Tottenham Immediately
There is no doubting this is the sort of calibre of player Tottenham and Paratici need to be looking at. Milinkovic-Savic is a top, top midfield player who can do a bit of everything.
Alongside Bentancur, it would give Tottenham that added drive and creativity in the middle of the park that they perhaps miss when Hojbjerg is in there.
The £62m asking-price does represent a big outlay for Spurs. But, Daniel Levy is thought to be keen on backing Conte this summer and at the end of the day, top players will cost top money.
