Italian side Lazio are considering a summer swoop on Tottenham Hotspur for cast out left-back Danny Rose.
The report from Corriere dello Sport is claiming that Lazio are looking for replacements for both Senad Lulic and Jordan Lukaku.
The Italian side have reportedly been in contact with the player’s agents to gauge the England international’s interest in joining Lazio.
Tottenham are reportedly looking for €5.5 million (£5m) for the player whilst Lazio will start negotiations at €3 million (£2.7m).
Rose is currently out on loan at Newcastle United and has only one year left on his Tottenham contract.

A recent report from The Times suggested that Rose will not be ‘sold against his wishes’ by Tottenham and is willing to see out the remainder of his contract at the North London club.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Rose stated his belief that he knew ‘after a month’ that Mourinho was not willing to give him a chance at Tottenham.
Tottenham will no doubt want to sell Rose this summer rather than losing him for nothing in 12 months’ time.
Lazio’s initial offer appears to be a little low but if Spurs can get something toward their apparent asking price it would be a good piece of business for the club and clear much-needed room on the wage bill.
