Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for a final-day showdown with Everton on Sunday as they aim to keep their place in the Premier League for 2026/27.
Spurs head into the final day 17th in the table and two points above 18th-place West Ham United with a 12-better goal difference.
It means they only need a draw with Everton to guarantee survival, and the Lilywhites have now been boosted by the return of Ben Davies to training.

Ben Davies in Tottenham training before Everton
Davies remained at Tottenham last summer despite transfer interest but has hardly featured in 2026.
He suffered an ankle injury in January and, after undergoing surgery, has missed the last 15 Premier League gameweeks.
However, Spurs have shared some training photos via Instagram ahead of taking on Everton, and a number of fans have expressed their joy at seeing the Welshman back on the training pitch. Some of the reactions can be seen below:
- “DAVIES’, followed by fire and love-heart eyes emojis.
- “Ben Davies!?! Yes! What a proper captain,” followed by a clapping emoji.
- “Davies is back!”
- “Start Davies.”
- “Ben Davies is back”, followed by a love heart emoji.
- “Davies back in will be HUGE if he is, true leadership and the boys will listen to him, and he’ll be like a brick wall at the back, they need a leader.”
- “Guys let’s please appreciate Ben Davies. Man has always given his full for the team with barely any ego and always stays with the team.”
Roberto De Zerbis shares Tottenham injury update before West Ham
Alongside Davies, Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Dominic Solanke is now available for the weekend’s tie
The striker has missed Tottenham’s last three league fixtures, and it remains to be seen if he will be in the eleven against Everton or not.
De Zerbi said: “Solanke is available for tomorrow. We have to decide if he starts in the first 11 or not.
Elsewhere, he confirmed James Maddison can feature: “Maddison is available. It’s always tough to decide before the game how many minutes he can play. Of course, he’s a different player, he’s a top player for us, but we have to analyse the physical condition, the Italian weather (he said, smiling) and a lot of things, but both are available.”
Djed Spence can also play some part after his collision with Liam Delap against Chelsea: “He’s available, he’s available.
“I think it was another situation bad for us because I think it was a red card for Delap, but I have to repeat, I have no time and energy to lose thinking about red card, yellow card – we move on thinking just on the game. So, obviously, he can play.”
