According to a report by The Daily Mail, Fulham are preparing contract talks with Ryan Sessegnon.

The exciting youngster is widely considered to be one of the best young players in the world and Fulham want to tie him down.

But he is attracting a lot of interest from other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

The 18-year-old has a year and a half left on his current deal. But clubs are hoping to snap him up on the cheap and take advantage of Fulham’s vulnerable position.

Spurs must rush through a deal for the England youth international, who is surely the long-term successor for Danny Rose.

The step up to the Premier League has been a learning curve but he has scored his first goal now and is looking to kick on.

Fulham are preparing a big money contract for Sessegnon and that would raise his asking price even higher.

In order to secure one of the country’s best youngsters before he becomes too expensive, Spurs must act soon.

The January transfer window is possibly their last chance to bring in Sessegnon before his price tag rockets.

And although it may take a hefty bid, it will be worth it if he realises his potential and becomes a first-team star for many years to come.
