Arsenal could have Bukayo Saka available for this weekend’s clash with Chelsea, with fears over his injury being downplayed.
Saka went off in the first half against Nottingham Forest at the weekend. His withdrawal brought some concern to Arsenal fans, who were fearing the worst for their star winger.
However, The Sun has reported how Arsenal are confident that Saka hasn’t sustained any bad damage. In fact, they are even hopeful he could be available to face Chelsea this week. The Gunners take on the Blues on Sunday in what will be another huge test of their credentials.

Saka has been key so far for the Gunners. His performance yesterday was shaping up to be another excellent one. He had laid on the opening goal for Gabi Martinelli before going off injured.
Mikel Arteta confirmed after the game he felt Saka’s injury was simply a kick. And it seems since then that all the information they have suggests Saka will indeed be ok.
TBR’s View: Saka being fit for Chelsea is massive for Arsenal
This update on Bukayo Saka and his injury is massive for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. Saka has been so crucial to them that if he is missing against Chelsea then it instantly gives Potter’s side a boost.
Saka has gone from being someone with huge potential to a player who now looks like one of the best in the entire league.
If his injury isn’t serious, and he can be fit for the weekend, then what a boost that is for Arsenal. He can win them the game and after impressing at The Bridge last season, he’ll want to be involved once more.
