Newcastle have been linked with a summer move for Stanley N’Soki.
The Magpies are reported by Paris United to be keen on the 20-year-old full-back along with Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Marseille.
The Toon Army made a bid of £10 million last summer (via The Guardian), but failed to land the Frenchman.
Having played little football this season, it could be that N’Soki wishes to depart the Parc des Princes this summer.
He is behind Juan Bernat and Layvin Kurzawa in the pecking order and appears not to be trusted by Thomas Tuchel, who hasn’t selected him once since the league title was wrapped up at the end of April.
N’Soki has demonstrated his raw talent on a few occasions, and his transfer would be an exciting one for Magpies fans.
The Geordie faithful have been dismayed at the Antonio Barreca deal, with the Italian loanee from AS Monaco only playing four minutes since arriving at the club in January.
He is one of the club’s most pointless signings in years, but the club will be forgiven if they manage to land long-term target N’Soki, who would be an exciting long-term investment.
The energetic full-back could help fix what has really been a problem position, and there’s chance he could develop into a top-class player.
