Celtic newcomer Kyogo Furuhashi has shared what Andres Iniesta has told him about the Hoops fanbase.
The Japan international made his debut for Ange Postecoglou’s side in the 2-1 opening day defeat to Hearts.
Furuhashi had joined Celtic two weeks earlier from J1-League club Vissel Kobe, where he played alongside Iniesta.

The Barcelona and Spain legend faced Celtic in the Champions League on numerous occasions.
In 2020, Iniesta said: “The atmosphere is one of the best in the world.
“I was fortunate to play there several times and it was always so intense.
“It was an honour to play amid such incredible noise.”
The Scotsman has reported that Iniesta urged Furuhashi to make the move to Celtic Park.
“Iniesta is a teacher, a big brother and family to me,” the 26-year-old told the outlet.
“I have great respect for him. We played a lot together at Kobe.
“He’s a quiet person but I learned a lot from him.

“I feel a special connection with him and really enjoyed playing alongside him.
“He played at Celtic Park with Barcelona and he told me the power of the supporters was huge.
“For him, Celtic Park was a tough stadium but for me being on their side and being part of Celtic makes me excited.”
Furuhashi left Vissel Kobe as the current top scorer in the J1 League, with 14 goals in 20 games.
He helped his former club with their first and second ever trophies – the Emperor’s Cup and the Japanese Super Cup.
