Kyle Walker has suggested the names of five Tottenham players who he saw as the best youngsters he has played with. During an interview with Telegraph journalist James Ducker, however, he suggested that Phil Foden blows them all out of the water.
The Manchester City gem has been a revelation since the return of football. Walker, however, might have caused some amusement with the players he named from his Tottenham days.

Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Andros Townsend perhaps come as no surprise to Tottenham fans. Ryan Mason had huge potential before a horrifying head injury playing for Hull curtailed his career.
The other player does come as a shock with the City ace naming Steven Caulker as one of the best young talents he has played with.
The centre-back made his Tottenham debut in 2009 but would make just 18 league appearances before moving to Cardiff City.
Eyebrows were raised in 2016 when he joined Liverpool on loan, playing three games during a temporary stint from QPR.
Since then, however, his career has stagnated somewhat playing 14 times for Dundee, before moving to Alanyaspor in Turkey.

Walker’s comments might suggest that Tottenham were a little bit quick to wash their hands of Caulker.
Had he played under a manager who trusted his ability he might have done more with his career, akin to the other four players mentioned by the City defender.
There really is no ceiling when it comes to Foden and what he can achieve in the game. The 20-year-old has scored eight goals and registered nine assists this season, with the youngster set to thrive under Pep Guardiola.
