Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has claimed that club and international teammate Raheem Sterling is deceptively strong.
30-year-old right-back Walker is currently away with the England squad, where he’s joined by club teammates Sterling, Phil Foden and John Stones.
Sterling, 26, is a diminutive 5ft 7in winger that doesn’t have the biggest frame, but his teammate has hailed his strength.
The speedster looks like playing a key role with the Three Lions this summer ahead of the European Championships, while domestically he’s part of a squad at the Etihad Stadium who are still competing on four fronts.
He’s scored 13 goals and made 10 assists in 38 games across all competitions so far this season.
“He’s deceptively [strong]. You don’t know how strong he is. He is so strong to try move off the ball,” Walker told the Man City’s official Youtube account.

TBR’s View:
If you see Sterling run at full speed, it’s extremely difficult for defenders to get a grip of him.
Real Madrid and ex-Chelsea star Eden Hazard is perhaps one of the best examples in recent times of being a slight attacker that is extremely strong, as he would just shrug defender off him.
Man City’s aesthetic team play the kind of football that is eye-catching for supporters, but that shouldn’t hide the fact they’ve got a squad of combative players that can mix it up with their physicality if needed.
