Tottenham Hotspur currently have one of the best man-managers around in Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs have certainly had some other great coaches who players – and also fans – loved in recent years, such as Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Redknapp.
With regards to Redknapp, Kyle Walker has now gone on record to say the Spurs cult hero is “probably the best” man-manager that he has had in his career.
Redknapp was manager at Tottenham between 2008 and 2012, and during his time at White Hart Lane, he helped take Spurs into the Champions League.

Tottenham also signed Walker under Redknapp’s watch. He went on Spurs’ books in 2009, though he remained at Sheffield United on loan until the summer of 2010.
Walker went from strength to strength at Spurs, making a name for himself as one of the best full-backs in the country, a reputation he still holds to this day.
Harry Redknapp was ‘the best man-manager’ for Kyle Walker at Tottenham
On Friday, Vibe with FIVE released an exclusive interview with the 33-year-old, who spoke to Rio Ferdinand and his co-hosts a number of topics including his own career.
When asked how it was like having Redknapp as manager, Walker replied: “I liked it, I liked it.
“He was similar to [Neil] Warnock, I played under Warnock at QPR.
“Harry’s the best I’d say man-manager that I’ve probably had, where he’d make you feel – once he loved you, that was it – he made you feel like you were the best player.
“And I think obviously (having alongside him) Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond was massive, especially for me as a youngster.”
It’s good to hear Walker recall his time at Tottenham fondly, and also it’s nice to hear a Spurs cult hero like Redknapp getting so much praise from such a great player.
The 77-year-old continues to keep tabs on Spurs. Indeed, just last year after Antonio Conte’s sacking, he said he’d have found it hard to resist taking the reins once again had he got the call.
Postecoglou is certainly going a long way to matching the likes of Redknapp in terms of superb man-managers at Tottenham. The players’ improvements at Spurs have been clear as day to see.
