Kun Temenuzhkov posts Twitter message after signing Leeds contract

Kun Temenuzhkov expressed his delight on Twitter after signing a new Leeds United contract – and some of the club’s supporters responded with delight and are hoping to see him with the first-team soon.

The 19-year-old has penned a fresh deal at Elland Road and committed his future to the Yorkshire club.

He is a highly-rated attacker that arrived from Barcelona in 2017 and has been impressing at youth level with the Whites.

The Bulgarian striker was given a first-team debut last season off the bench in an FA Cup defeat to QPR and is yet to be back in the senior squad since.

Temenuzhkov has been impressing with the Under-23s side and is a diminutive centre-forward with a lot of potential.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media replied with plenty of encouragement and feel he’s due a spot back in the senior squad in the near future.

It may take an injury though to bring him into contention, as Patrick Bamford and Eddie Nketiah are currently battling it out for the senior striker position.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has shown that he’s prepared to put faith in youth and it should be a huge encouragement to all of the club’s rising stars.

Here are some Leeds fans replying to Temenuzhkov:
