According to a report by TEAMtalk, Celtic are among the clubs chasing Norwegian youngster Emil Bohinen.
Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Burnley are also tracking Bohinen, who is the son of former Premier League midfielder Lars Bohinen.
But Celtic could have a trump card up their sleeve by using Norway international Kristoffer Ajer to get this deal over the line.
Ajer could hold the key to this transfer for two reasons. Firstly, it might help Bohinen settle in with a fellow countryman in his squad.
But more importantly, Ajer has set the blueprint for success in switching from the Norwegian top division to the Scottish Premiership.
The 20-year-old moved from Start to Celtic in 2016 and is now a regular in the first-team squad.

With over 50 Bhoys first-team appearances to his name, Ajer is well experienced for such a young age and he is continuing to get better.
Bohinen might be tempted to join Ajer at Celtic Park and follow in his footsteps on the way to becoming a Celtic regular.
Crystal Palace also have a Norwegian player but Alexander Sorloth has struggled to adapt to the Premier League and is currently out on loan.
Ajer’s success will be more appealing to Bohinen, who has already played a handful of games for Stabaek.
The 19-year-old midfielder is a Norway youth international and could follow Ajer’s route to first-team football at both club and country level.
