The agent of Bulgaria international Kristiyan Malinov has confirmed there is interest in his client from Rangers.
As reported by 7 Sport a week ago, Rangers are one of several teams from across Europe said to be interested in the player.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is said to be keen on bringing in another midfielder this summer and the 13-cap international appears to be an option.

Now, speaking to The Herald, the player’s agent Marko Mihaljevic has confirmed that Rangers are interested but that there is no offer currently on the table. He also made it clear that any asking price for the player would be affordable for the Glasgow club.
“Yes there have been talks with Rangers regarding Kristiyan. Have Rangers sent an offer yet? No.
“We are in talks and there is an interest but deals can’t be done through the night as there are many factors that we must take into consideration.
“It is too soon to say if a deal will happen between Kristiyan and Rangers. Kristiyan is privileged by the interest of Rangers but there are also other clubs who are interested.
“Let’s just say it (the asking price) is very acceptable for the club that want Kristiyan. The fee is already set with CSKA Sofia and agreed but numbers cannot be exposed.”
Rangers will not have vast sums to spend this summer unless they end up selling a prized asset like Alfredo Morelos or Borna Barisic.
Amid recent speculation regarding a move from a Romanian side for his services, DigiSport claimed CSKA valued the midfielder at €2 million (£1.8m), which would seem affordable.
Not many Rangers fans will have heard of the Bulgarian but he appears to be a highly-rated player with a long list of clubs said to be pursuing his signature.
If Rangers were to win that transfer battle, fans would hope they are bringing in a talented commodity.
