Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd blasted Ianis Hagi after the Gers drew 0-0 with Livingston, telling Sky Sports, via the Scottish Sun that the Romanian didn’t look interested.
Hagi has played in every game for the Gers this season but cut an isolated figure as the Light Blues dropped points for the first time during 2020/21.
The £4 million (Scottish Sun) man drew criticism for his performance from the ex-Rangers player who has called for him to start contributing more.

He told Sky Sports, as per the Scottish Sun: “There were too many passengers today.
“I thought Ianis Hagi didn’t do anything in terms of touches. I don’t want to label it at him, but to be honest he didn’t look interested.
“A lot of the time it looked as if the game just past him by. With everything at stake, you need to go and demand the ball.
The 21-year-old signed for Rangers from Belgian outfit Genk and right now he’s struggling to justify his price tag.
In four outings this season he has failed to register a goal or an assist and with other players in competition for his place, he needs to get up to speed quickly.
Improvements
Boss Steven Gerrard now has a plethora of attacking talent to call upon and Hagi will be seriously looking over his shoulder.
Three wins and a draw isn’t a bad start to be fair for Rangers, especially considering they’ve kept clean sheets in all four of their outings.

Against better opposition yesterday, however, they could have come unstuck and creative players like Hagi need to start proving the difference in such contests.
Gerrard will be desperate to stop Celtic making it ten in a row and he will hope there is more to come from Hagi.
