‘Knows where the net is’: Some Arsenal fans impressed by one player’s efforts in training

A number of Arsenal fans have commented on the club’s training-ground video featuring Martin Odegaard weighing in with some “tidy finishes”.

The North Londoners signed the Real Madrid midfielder on loan last month, a move many fans saw as a coup and a much-needed acquisition.

When reports of Odegaard looking for a loan move first emerged, plenty of Arsenal fans called for the club to join the race for his signature.

Now he’s at the Emirates Stadium and will vie with Emile Smith Rowe, the Gunners’ latest Hale End success story, for the No. 10 position.

Odegaard came on as a substitute in the 0-0 draw against Manchester United and stayed on the bench in the midweek loss at Wolves.

With Smith Rowe now looking like he could do with a bit of a rest, some Arsenal fans reckon Odegaard should be in the XI against Aston Villa in Saturday’s early kickoff.
