'It's really crazy': Ahead of United clash, Klopp says one Liverpool player has a new trick up his sleeve

Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Liverpool v Manchester United and says Mo Salah has a new trick up his sleeve.

The Egyptian forward signed a new contract in the summer while Liverpool allowed Sadio Mane to exit the club. Salah has already got himself on the scoresheet this season and with Darwin Nunez now suspended, there will be even more onus on him to produce.

And speaking to Sky, Klopp has been lauding his star man…while also claiming Salah has developed a surprise new skill over the summer break.

“I think he found a right foot on holiday. He always develops. It’s really crazy. I know a few years back he arrived and usually when a player comes from outside inside they use the inside of the foot to spin the ball and all of a sudden he had the full throttle – the Chelsea goal is a pretty remarkable one,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

“This year he arrived with crosses with his right foot. He’s obviously a top professional and he really tries to add on things into his game. He is a top, top, top striker and with the numbers he had, not only scoring-wise but assisting-wise as well, it’s big.”

TBR’s View: Salah The Driving Force For Liverpool

Mo Salah loves playing against Manchester United and if he’s firing on all cylinders, then the Reds will see off United with relative ease.

The fact he’s gone away in the summer and worked on something new as well is just testament to how good Salah is.

The best players in the world remain at the top by striving to improve, and that’s what seems to have happened with Mo Salah this summer. Certainly, Man United will be on their guard this weekend against the Reds star.
