Liverpool extended their Premier League winning run to eight games in Saturday’s early kickoff.
The Reds ran out 2-0 winners away at Brighton, with Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah getting on the scoresheet.
Diaz continued his amazing run of form since joining Liverpool by opening the scoring on 19 minutes.

The Colombian raced onto a defence-splitting delivery from Joel Matip and headed into the net.
Diaz also got pole-axed by Robert Sanchez in the process, but thankfully the Liverpool striker was able to continue.
Controversially, the Brighton keeper’s challenge was deemed not worthy of a red card following a VAR review.
On the hour mark, an Yves Bissouma handball prompted referee Mike Dean to award the Anfield outfit a penalty.
Salah duly converted from the spot, burying his effort down the middle to double Liverpool’s advantage.
Sadio Mane didn’t get on the scoresheet on Saturday, but he nonetheless put in a great display for the most part.
The Senegal international showed great workrate and came close with one effort at near post.
Mane then moved to the right after Salah’s substitution and continued to do well.
However, there was one occasion where the 29-year-old made a poor decision in front of goal.
In the 33rd minute, Mane dispossessed Joel Veltman and bore down on the Brighton goal.
He had Salah and Diaz in support, but he decided to go at it alone – and scuffed a shot straight at Sanchez.

Tony Pulis, on commentating duties for BBC Sport, didn’t like what he saw.
“Sadio Mane could play Mo Salah in and Salah would score, I’m sure he would,” he said on BBC Radio 5 Live (12/3/22, 13:07).
“But he just passes it back to the goalkeeper… Jurgen Klopp nearly fell over.”
Later on in the half, Salah also failed to hit the back of the net when he could’ve maybe set up Mane.
A good routine win and a clean sheet for Liverpool, so a great day overall.
But you’ve got to wonder whether Klopp will be having words with Mane and Salah over their decision-making.
