Liverpool take on Nottingham Forest tomorrow but there has been some concerning team news regarding Darwin Nunez from Jurgen Klopp just now.
The Uruguayan striker scored a fine header as Liverpool beat West Ham in midweek. Nunez has had a slow start to life in the Red of Liverpool but the last few weeks have seen him show glimpses of his ability.

However, with a game at Nottingham Forest likely to be one Nunez is licking his lips over, the striker might yet miss out due to injury. According to Klopp, in a message relayed by The Athletic’s James Pearce, Nunez has undergone treatment on a hamstring problem and it remains to be seen if he’ll play tomorrow.
Klopp has been speaking in his press conference as Liverpool travel to Forest. It’s a game which will be anticipated across England, with the pair enjoying huge success in the 80s as two of the main forces in the English game.
Liverpool have sprung back into form recently while Forest cannot buy a win. Nunez, then, will fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet should he make it.
TBR’s View: Nunez Will Be Gutted If Injured
Darwin has started to look the business recently and he’ll be gutted to miss out this weekend if he is indeed injured.
His goal against West Ham was everything he was brought in to do, while his effort against Rangers a week or so back was also a fine finish.
With Diogo Jota ruled out, Nunez has the chance to really lay down a marker as the main striker at Liverpool. Surely, then, he’ll be doing all he can to be fit for Forest.
