Klich posts tweet poking fun at Moyes after Leeds win at West Ham
Mateusz Klich has poked fun at David Moyes on Twitter, joking that he is feeling particularly tired in the wake of Leeds United’s win over West Ham on Sunday.
Moyes was left incredibly annoyed after watching his side lose 3-2 to the Whites at the London Stadium. The Hammers went into clash having played twice in the previous eight days.
Of course, the first of those games came against the same opposition in the FA Cup. On that occasion, the Irons won 2-0 against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
They were back in action on Wednesday, beating Norwich by the same scoreline at the London Stadium. Once again, a late goal was required to seal the victory.
West Ham were able to keep going until the end against Leeds on Sunday. And Jarrod Bowen missed a glorious chance to make it three late goals on the spin for him with virtually the last action of the game.
Nevertheless, Moyes felt that West Ham were at a major disadvantage. He described fatigue as a ‘huge factor‘. He also expressed a frustration with Leeds having a full week to prepare.
Unfortunately for Moyes, he is unlikely to receive much sympathy. Certainly, Klich could not resist mocking the West Ham boss as he responded to a tweet from the official Leeds account asking how everyone was feeling the day after the victory…
Not great, bit tired.

Some of Moyes’ frustrations are somewhat understandable, but poorly timed in wake as Klich mocks West Ham boss
Premier League bosses are being given reason to be annoyed. Some of the decisions to call certain games off have been questionable.
But Moyes picked completely the wrong time to express his anger. Obviously, it came across as sour grapes in the wake of losing. Admittedly, he did allude to his frustration over the scheduling after the win over Norwich, too.
However, Leeds could not have played one of their postponed games this week. Aston Villa were playing on Monday. Meanwhile, Liverpool played on Thursday.
And no Premier League team appears to have had their squad decimated as badly as Leeds have. 15-year-old Archie Gray was one of seven teenagers named on the bench on Sunday. And they lost two further first-team players to injury during the first-half.
So it is no surprise that Klich could not resist a jibe in the wake of their amazing win.
