Kinglsey Coman’s agent has transfer update after links with Saudi Arabia and Arsenal

After signing Mikel Merino, it’s being widely reported that Arsenal are still in the market for a wide-forward before Friday’s deadline.

Arsenal came to the conclusion after their Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich that they were missing something in attack, Mikel Arteta lacked a bit of x-factor.

And with the transfer window nearing a close, Arsenal are still yet to make an attacking addition, unless you count Mikel Merino in that regard.

Merino can definitely add attacking impetus as Arsenal’s number eight, but he’s not a devastating winger, nor is he a natural goalscorer.

That being said, Arsenal could still make a late move – they might have their eyes on one more deal.

Nico Williams was thought to be Arteta’s number one target at the start of the summer, but a move now feels slightly unrealistic.

Fortunately, Arsenal could be interested in a late deal for Kingsley Coman, who is free to leave Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich.

Although, it has been reported that Coman is on the cusp of a move to Saudi Arabia – something the player’s agent has now denied.

Arsenal target Kingsley Coman hasn’t accepted a bid from Saudi Arabia

28-year-old Coman has been pitched as Arsenal’s ideal target profile right now, a skillful winger who might be available on a short-term basis.

Arteta reportedly doesn’t want to rock the boat in terms of his attack, rather he’s looking to add depth and a bit of experience – he essentially wants another Leandro Trossard.

And if Arsenal are planning a late move for Coman then they could be in luck, as journalist Fabrizio Romano has just shared some words from the winger’s agent on X.

Christian Emile, who looks after all things Coman, replied to reports that a proposal from Al-Hilal has been accepted by the French winger.

Emile simply said: “It’s NOT true. Kingsley has not accepted any bid at this stage.”

Of course, it would therefore appear as if a deal could still be on the table for Arsenal for the £18m-winger.

Perhaps some supporters in north London will be hesitant regarding the idea given Coman’s injuries in the past.

But as time ticks on, Coman would certainly be better than no new arrival at Arsenal.
