Throughout the first-half of the season, Leeds United were flying in the Championship. That said, fans still had reservations about one of their players. Bailey Peacock-Farrell, the Northern Ireland youngster, was their number one goalkeeper.
Despite possessing some talent, he certainly frustrated fans. Prone to an error many felt the youngster would not be good enough to lead Leeds to promotion. Jamal Blackman, on loan from Chelsea, was all set to take his place. That was until he broke his leg.
So Leeds dived into the transfer market. The Whites snapped up Kiko Casilla from Real Madrid in an eye-catching move. As reported by BBC journalist Adam Pope, Leeds paid a fee of around €1.7 million (£1.5 million) to buy Casilla out of his remaining 18 months at the Bernabeu.

It looked like an absolute bargain from Leeds and the solution to a long-standing problem.
However, Casilla has hardly lit the world alight at Elland Road.
His performance today, in a shock 3-2 defeat against basement side Ipswich Town, was particularly bad. But overall he has hardly had a positive impact on the Leeds back-line and has not caught the eye with performances that saved Leeds points.
Is he a better option than BPF? Yes, probably. However, considering his Real Madrid history and one cap for Spain, Leeds fans will be expecting a lot more from the 32-year-old.
