Kieran Tierney has suggested that there is one Arsenal player who he knows Real Sociedad fans would absolutely love to see their club sign.
Kieran Tierney is currently on loan in San Sebastián. The Scotland international has made 16 appearances for the club in all competitions, including two in the Champions League.
It may have come as a surprise to some to see the left-back leave to join Sociedad in the summer. But it seems that he sought the advice of one Arsenal teammate before making the switch.
Kieran Tierney says Real Sociedad fans would love to have Martin Odegaard back
Martin Odegaard also went on loan to Real Sociedad at one stage in his career. The 25-year-old went on to play 36 games for the club in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists.

Thankfully for Arsenal, it was not enough to convince Real Madrid to use him a lot more. But his spell with the club clearly left a significant impression on the supporters.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Tierney noted that Odegaard remains an incredibly popular figure at the Reale Arena.
“I did speak to him a lot and he was helpful,” he said. “They love him here. They would want him back any time.”
Real Madrid error
It would be interesting to know whether the decision-makers at Real Madrid have any regrets over the decision to sell Odegaard to Arsenal.
At the time, it appeared to be a decent move for all parties. The Norwegian had just been unable to take that next step and establish himself at the Bernabeu. And the Gunners were closer to mid-table than the title fight in the Premier League.
But Odegaard is realising the frightening potential many hoped he would have. And Arsenal are now back amongst the elite.
Obviously, Real Madrid have still done well without him. But you cannot say that Los Blancos would be any worse off having him in their squad.
Arsenal will certainly be grateful that his successful spell at Real Sociedad did little for his chances of making the grade with Real Madrid.
