Arsenal have been name checked by Portugal and Lille star Renato Sanches, as the midfielder spoke about what the future might hold for him.

The former Swansea City loanee has enjoyed a fine rise in his career in recent seasons. It comes after a failed spell in Wales, while he was also disappointing with Bayern Munich.

However, with Lille, Sanches has excelled and was a key player for Portugal during Euro 2020 as well, where he enjoyed some fine performances alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

Speaking today, Sanches admitted that Arsenal are one of the club he is aware hold an interest in him.

“Who is interested in me? Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested, but I don’t know. I talked to my agent, I know which clubs are calling and which are not, but now I can’t tell. But I know I’m ready. If it happens, I’ll see what’s best for me,” Sanches commented.

Football.London report that Arsenal refused to pay £30m for Sanches in the summer. And naturally, this sort of talk got Gunners fans on Twitter talking.
