Kia Joorabchian believes Everton have potentially pulled off an incredible signing in the form of his client James Rodriguez.
The South American superstar completed his move to Goodison Park from Real Madrid on Monday on a two-year contract, with the club having an option of a third year.

It is though Rodriguez set the Toffees back around £22 million (Sky Sports).
The Colombia international – who apparently took a wage cut down to £77,000-a-week to join Everton (Marca) – is looking to turn over a new leaf on Merseyside following a few years of struggle across stints at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
In the eyes of his agent Joorabchian, Rodriguez is raring to go and could be exceptional business by Everton.
He told talkSPORT: “I think if he [Ancelotti] can keep James on the pitch and as fit as possible I think it’ll be an incredible signing for Everton.
“I think you’re going to see the best of him in the Premier League, he had an up and down year last year with his injury, but now he’s fully fit.

“This is the moment where he’s ready to explode and this is his chance to attack the Premier League.”
TBR’s View – Rodriguez can become Goodison favourite
Joorabchian is not wrong – Rodriguez has the potential to light Goodison Park up and become an instant favourite.
It hasn’t happened for him in recent years through a combination of loss of form and injury, but if Carlo Ancelotti can put his arm around him and keep it there, he could absolutely flourish.
He was the star of the 2014 World Cup. That fantastic ability will still be in there somewhere, it’s just a question of the player staying fit.
