Only last weekend, Nathaniel Clyne’s Liverpool career looked to be on the up again having started and performed well against Manchester United in his first Premier League this season.
Now, he may have been brought back down to earth with the news that Jurgen Klopp is ready to give a first team role to 16-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever.
Given that the news comes not long after Calciomercato reported that Fulham and Crystal Palace are interested in the Englishman, it may not be a surprise to see him move on sooner, rather than later.

Hoever has been in magnificent form for the club’s under 23s since joining from Ajax in September and has done enough to impress Klopp and earn regular training sessions at Melwood.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold the undisputed first choice, Joe Gomez and Fabinho both able to offer cover and Hoever coming through the ranks, Clyne’s future beyond January or the summer looks uncertain to say the least.
If Fulham or Crystal Palace were to come in with an offer, the chance to cash in for Liverpool and the chance for regular football for Clyne may make an exit a logical solution for all parties.
