Former Premier Legaue striker Kevin Phillips believes Arsenal are capable of finishing in the top four this season.
The Gunners have made a bright start to the 2019/20, wining their opening two games.
There is real optimism at the club at the moment, with the club having sprung into life late in the summer transfer window.

Raul Sanllehi and his team brought in Nicolas Pepe, David Luiz, Dani Ceballos, Kieran Tierney and youngster Gabriel Martinelli, and fans are hopeful that come May, Champions League football will be assured.
Speaking on The Debate, Arsenal fan Phillips said of the Gunners’ prospects (quoted by football.london): “I think so [they can finish top four]. It’s progression.
“In January they might add again if what we’re hearing is true there might be money available. Go and get that defensive midfielder, go and get that powerhouse centre-half, make yourself challengers.”
TBR’s view
It remains to be seen what Arsenal will do in January – it may very much depend on how they are faring on the pitch at that point in time.

Phillips could be on to something with the addition of a defensive midfielder. A tall enforcer-type to go in there and shake things up. Matteo Guendouzi has been impressive but remains raw and Granit Xhaka is not the most consistent.
It’s difficult to see the club adding another central defender though, with William Saliba to join next summer and Rob Holding to come back from injury.
