West Ham United coach, Kevin Nolan, believes the Hammers could see the best of Jesse Lingard in the coming months, following his loan from Manchester United.
Lingard completed his move to the Hammers yesterday. The England man joins until the end of the season, although he has very much indicated he still sees his future in Manchester. That is a view shared by United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, too.

However, speaking to BBC 5 Live yesterday, Hammers coach Nolan believes that attitude from Lingard, coupled with the Euros being around the corner, can only be good for his team.
“He’s just found it difficult to break into the Man United squad so we’ve been lucky. We want someone who can give us something a bit different and he can fulfil a number of roles.
“What we’re hoping is we’ve got a lad who is hungry and can prove people wrong. Prove he can play for Man United. Which is great for us because we want to see the best of him. And also there’s a Euros coming up and he’s going to be training with Declan Rice. We’re hoping for the best of both worlds, from his side and for us,” Nolan added.

Lingard will, as Nolan says, be hoping to have a big impact in London. A number of other clubs, including Newcastle and Sheffield United, were said to be keen on the Red Devils star.
However, West Ham are flying, and he joins a former manager in charge of a team where Europe is a very realistic possibility now.
TBR View: Nolan spot on here, it could be win win for the Hammers
Nolan will be hoping his prediction rings true here. He makes a great point in the reasoning behind the signing. Lingard can produce the goods on his day and should, in theory, have a point to prove.
It’s a big few months this for Lingard and if he can get back to his best, then the Hammers have made an astute signing indeed.
