Kevin Campbell has suggested that Arsenal could make at least £25million if they decided to sell Granit Xhaka.

The midfielder, who has been at the Emirates Stadium since 2016, is a deep-lying midfield playmaker renowned for his range of passing and tenacious tackling.

Unfortunately, he’s someone that divides opinion in the fanbase due to inconsistency.

Sky Germany have reported that Xhaka is keen on a move to the Bundesliga.

He previously played at Borussia Monchengladbach, and the report states he’s interested in a move back to Germany.

Arsenal-supporting pundit Campbell believes that the Gunners could make between £25million-£30million for him.

He’s suggested it could be the right time to cash in on him this summer:

“I still think you’d get decent money for Xhaka because he’s played a lot of games,” Campbell told Highbury Squad.

“He seems to never get injured, which is great. I still think there will be suitors for him, the fee £25million-30million potentially. Would you snap your hand off that? Yes, that would do.”

TBR’s View:

If you look at Xhaka’s career at Arsenal so far, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster with plenty of ups and downs.

On his day he’s a quality left-footed central midfielder, which is why he’s a leader and captain of Switzerland’s national team.

But surely Mikel Arteta’s side need an upgrade in the centre of the park if they are to dig themselves out of the mess that has them currently outside of the European positions in the Premier League table.

If the rumours are true, and Xhaka is looking for a way at, Arsenal should be doing their best to sell him.
