Everton fell to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Wolves at Molineux in their Premier League encounter on Saturday.
Toffees cult hero Kevin Campbell went on to deliver a brutal verdict on how Sean Dyche’s side performed in the game.
Campbell, speaking on BBC Final Score, admitted he liked what he saw from Wolves and said the 3-0 scoreline is actually kind for Everton.
“I was very impressed with Wolves today,” said the former Blues striker.
“They opened Everton up at will and Everton couldn’t match them today. Three goals were probably kind to Everton.”

Everton conceded their first goal in the 25th minute.
Max Kilman tapped in from close range following a Matheus Cunha cross that Jarrad Branthwaite nearly poked past Jordan Pickford.
Cunha then went from provider to goalscorer in the 53rd minute as the Molineux side gave their fans more to cheer.
Pablo Sarabia put Hwang Hee-chan through down the right and his delivery allowed Cunha to tap in and double Wolves’ lead.
Everton were clearly struggling by then, and it looked like a matter of time before Wolves would add a third amid the visitors’ defensive disarray.
This duly came on 61 minutes when Cunha’s cross was diverted beyond Pickford by the outstretched leg of Craig Dawson.
Everton end rollercoaster 2023 on a low note
And so Everton end a rollercoaster year on a low note, which is a huge shame considering how well they were doing just a few weeks ago.
Between the start of December up until the 16th, the Toffees had won four games in a row. They also beat Crystal Palace before the November international break.
Now, Everton have lost their last three, and the manner in which they lost so heavily to a side in the bottom half of the table will be especially jarring.
The Toffees are next in action on Thursday when they head to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup. Their next league game is on 14 January, at home to Aston Villa.
