Kevin Campbell has taken to Twitter to comment on the reports suggesting that Everton want to sign Abdoulaye Doucoure this summer, insisting that the Watford star would be an excellent signing for the Toffees.
Carlo Ancelotti looks to be extremely keen to bring Doucoure to Goodison Park this summer. The London Evening Standard reported earlier this week that Everton had had a bid rejected for the Frenchman.

The report suggested that Watford want £25 million for the 27-year-old. And it was claimed that Everton are expected to return with a fresh bid.
Despite the Hornets’ relegation, Doucoure’s stock remains high. He has been a fantastic signing for the club, scoring 16 goals and providing 11 assists across his last three seasons.

It appears that there is still work to be done with Everton seeing a bid rejected. But a potential move for Doucoure has received the approval of one former Everton hero.
Campbell took to social media to comment on a report concerning Everton’s interest in Doucoure.
And the retired striker suggested that he was particularly excited to see Doucoure play alongside another reported target in Napoli midfielder Allan (as reported by BBC Sport).
Here is Campbell’s tweet on the reported interest in the Watford star…
