Kenny Miller has given his prediction on Instagram ahead of this weekend’s Glasgow showdown between rivals Celtic and Rangers.
Miller, who played for both Scottish giants in his career, believes that Rangers are going to run out 3-1 winners on their trip to face Celtic at Parkhead.
Neil Lennon’s Celtic side have the home advantage on Saturday afternoon and they know that three points will see them climb to the top of the league table, as they go in pursuit of a 10th consecutive top-flight title.
The defending champions have won eight of their opening nine league matches at the start of the campaign and will start as slight favourites, but they will be wary of their neighbours.
Rangers currently sit top of the pile having played a game more than today’s opposition and they look like a side this year that are ready to push all the way in the title race, especially as they’ve got a fairly settled side that are looking extremely solid defensively under manager Steven Gerrard.
It’s a big chance for the Gers to send out a title message this weekend and the return fixture at Ibrox takes place at the beginning of January.
Miller, whose allegiances do lie more towards Rangers, has predicted on social media that Gerrard’s men are going to secure a 3-1 away win at Parkhead.
