Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe was something of a divisive figure at Leeds United. But this season, that has not been the case. The former Oxford United forward has been in sensational form for Leeds this term.
In his seven games this season he has four goals and two assists, as he thrives under the guidance of new boss Marcelo Bielsa.
Such form has not gone unnoticed. As reported by Football Insider, the Premier League trio of Southampton, Brighton and Hove Albion and Burnley are all said to be keeping track of his services.
A move to Burnley would certainly be interesting regarding a former Leeds star.
Chris Wood left Leeds last summer in a £15 million deal after being a star at Elland Road. Last season he showed good form with the Clarets, scoring 12 goals in 29 games. However, this season has been more difficult for Wood.
The New Zealand international showed good form in Europe. However, he has failed to score in seven Premier League appearances and has lost his starting place to Matej Vydra and Sam Vokes, with him and Ashley Barnes now operating from the bench.
If Roofe were to head to Burnley as well, the former Leeds star would certainly be struggling to get first-team football.
Leeds will not want to lose their star striker in the near future like they once did with Wood. However, if they did, on this occasion it could make the Kiwi redundant at Turf Moor.
