Kemar Roofe has posted a cheeky response on Instagram about reported Leeds United interest in Brentford midfielder Romaine Sawyers.
According to the Daily Record, the Whites are battling Celtic this summer for the Championship playmaker.
It is understood that he is valued at around £2.5million amid interest in him, but Leeds are yet to make an approach for him.
The 27-year-old is a central midfielder that can play in a more advanced role too and he managed seven assists in 46 games across all competitions last season.
Leeds striker Roofe will know Sawyers after they both came through the West Brom academy as youngsters.
Roofe has spotted the links to the Brentford dazzler on Instagram and delivered a cheeky response by posting a fire emoji.

TBR’s View:
Sawyers has proven himself to be an effective midfielder at Championship level in recent times and at £2.5million could be a shrewd addition for Leeds if they win the race to sign him.
He should be entering the peak years of his career right now and he would hand Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa another option going forward.
The Yorkshire club do have the likes of Pablo Hernandez as a creative source in the midfield, but need a strong squad if they are to get over the line for promotion.
