Leeds United’s key centre-forward Kemar Roofe may benefit massively if the club sign attacking target Callum O’Dawda from Bristol City.
The pair both played together at Oxford United during the 2015/16 campaign in League Two, where they helped achieve promotion and were relentless in front of goal.
Roofe netted 25 goals in all competitions in that campaign before his move to Elland Road, while winger O’Dowda was directly involved in 18 goals across all competitions.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, O’Dowda is a potential January target for Leeds and he’s viewed as an alternative option to Swansea City’s Daniel James.
It is understood that Marcelo Bielsa’s team could bid for the Bristol City wide man and they want to strengthen ahead or the promotion run-in for the Championship.

O’Dowda has scored two goals and supplied four assists this season in the Championship fior Bristol City, something which has made him a regular in the team.
The 23-year-old is a highly-rated winger that already has 15 senior international caps for Republic of Ireland and just needs to smarten up on his end product.
He previously had a great connection with Roofe and it’s Leeds’ top scorer (14) this season who could get even better if he’s reunited with a former teammate.
