Kemar Roofe has been speaking about the potential of playing up front with Patrick Bamford. So far, only one of the pair appears to have a starting spot at Leeds United under Marcelo Bielsa. Roofe however, clearly feels he and the £7 million summer recruit can work in harmony up top.
There is certainly hope among Leeds fans that the pair could both play up front before the end of the season. With Bamford now fit and firing, it is again a possibility for Leeds.

Bamford is a seasoned veteran in the Championship despite his young age. Roofe has been on fire this season with 10 goals in 17 games.
“It would be really good if we could both be in the same team together.
“I think we would link up very well, we have got a good relationship as it is and I think we can carry that on to the pitch. It would be an enjoyment to play together.”

Both players are also capable of playing in a wider role but there’s no doubt playing both through the middle could prove a massive threat for Leeds if needing a goal.
In recent memory, Leeds have had some great striking partnerships. Luciano Becchio and Jermaine Beckford for example.
Getting another Leeds pair to form such a formidable partnership would be a dream for the fans at Elland Road. Doing so in a Championship promotion race could end up giving Leeds the edge over their many rivals.
