'Keep an eye on Liverpool': Fabrizio Romano shares exciting update about 'incredible' World Cup star
And Fabrizio Romano has now urged fans to “keep an eye on Liverpool” with regards to the England star’s potential next destination.
Bellingham has long been deemed one of the best young players in the world. And he’s now making even more of a name for himself at the World Cup.
The 19-year-old has been one of England’s best players as they reached the quarter-finals of the competition with relative ease.
Bellingham currently plays for – and captains – Borussia Dortmund.
However, many are expecting him to return to England and play in the Premier League next year.
And Liverpool are one of the clubs reportedly pushing the hardest for his signature.
Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, named Bellingham in his list of five World Cup stars expected to get a top move in 2023.
And he reiterated that Liverpool are “trying and trying” for the Three Lions ace.
‘His numbers are incredible’
However, Romano also claimed that the Reds are up against the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
“Keep an eye, of course, on Jude Bellingham,” said the transfer insider.
“Not for January, but this boy is special. His numbers are incredible.
“His 10 goals in this season with Borussia Dortmund and with the English national team.
“He’s born in 2003… it’s incredible how he’s performing. He’s really a top talent, one of the best players this age in the world.
“It’s important to say that nothing will happen in January. But after the World Cup, there will be a price for Jude Bellingham, because Borussia Dortmund will decide the price tag.
“And Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp approaching, but also Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are in the race for Bellingham.
“Man United dream of him but they know it’s more than difficult for them to sign him in the summer.
“So keep an eye on Liverpool because Klopp is trying and trying for Jude Bellingham to join Liverpool in the summer.
“But Real Madrid, City and Chelsea will be there too – so Jude Bellingham for sure will be one to watch.”
Liverpool really need to bolster their ranks next year, and Bellingham would be arguably the best possible option in midfield.
At just 19, he’s holding his own with the very best in the world. His ceiling is incredibly high, and he really can go on to become a superstar.
