Rangers are interested in the signature of Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant. The Scottish Sun recently reported that Rangers were keeping tabs on the striker with a view to a pre-contract agreement for the summer. The Addicks striker was scheduled to be watched by Steven Gerrard this weekend, according to The Scottish Sun, however, he sent someone else in his stead as his plans changed.
Based on his display against Accrington Stanley this weekend, Rangers will no doubt like what they see.
The talented frontman was a constant threat for the home side at the Valley. His pace and trickery around the box made him a huge threat and Stanley simply struggled to contain him.

Rangers’ attending scout will no doubt quickly forget that he fluffed his lines with an open goal beckoning due to the nature of his performance afterwards.
To top it all off, he scored the winner. Grant cooly slotted home a 93rd-minute penalty to keep Charlton in the hunt for automatic promotion. It was his 14th goal of the season.
Rangers would be signing a top striking option if they could get hold of the Addicks striker. This performance certainly confirmed that fact.
