Loris Karius looks set to carry out the second year of his two-season loan spell at Turkish outfit Besiktas, according to the Daily Mirror.
They report that Besiktas are considering requesting that the German stopper return to Anfield early but there is no clause in the current loan agreement allowing for that.
That apparently means that Karius will not be recalled early and he has no choice but to carry on his battle to regain some form with the Superlig side.
Karius has struggled for form in Turkey, with his attempts to shake off the effects of last season’s Champions League final debacle proving unsuccessful.

Karius, who Spotrac claim earns £25,000 per week, was supposed to get his career back on track away from the glare of Anfield.
But Turkish football is not necessarily the gentlest place to do that. The atmosphere is loud and passionate and the switch means he had to adapt to a new country and culture all over again, on the back of being widely ridiculed and bombed out of his club on the back of an abject failure on the biggest stage.
The German probably needed to return to Anfield in order to make another move elsewhere this summer – perhaps back to his native country.
It would be a shame if the events in Kiev last May derailed his entire career, but coming up to a year on, Karius still looks to be in that tailspin.
