Karamoko Dembele has used just one word to describe Glasgow Rangers as a football club.
Dembele, of course, came through as a youngster at Celtic, so, as you can imagine, he didn’t have the kindest of words for Rangers.
Speaking on The Athletic’s TikTok page, Dembele was asked to play a game of word association, and while he said that Celtic were his boyhood club, he still to this day, even after leaving Celtic, said that Rangers were his enemies.

Karamoko Dembele says Rangers are his enemy
The youngster spoke about how he feels about Celtic, Rangers and his current club, Blackpool.
“Celtic?” Dembele was asked.
“Boyhood,” Dembele responded
“Rangers?” Dembele was asked.
“Enemy,” Dembele responded.
“Blackpool?” The host asked.
“Seaside,” Dembele said.
Never leaves you
Dembele may have only played a handful of games for Celtic, but after spending so much of his youth with the club, that Old Firm rivalry still sticks with him.
No matter where Dembele goes, he’s always going to have that affinity with Celtic, and, by proxy, he’s going to view Rangers as his big rivals.
Who knows? At the age of just 20, perhaps Dembele will still have a bright future in the game, and if he can live up to the potential that was discussed all those years ago, he could find himself back at Celtic and making an impact in the Glasgow Derby again at some point in the future.
The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers is something that runs much deeper than what club you play for at any given moment in time, and while Dembele isn’t technically a Celtic player anymore, it sounds as though he still very much has a connection to the club and this rivalry.
